WIPO summer schools

Short IP courses held in-person and in hybrid format with partners all over the world, targeting university students and young professionals. Participants get the opportunity to gain practical experience from leading industry experts, academics and public sector officials about the relationship between IP and policy, technology, and socio-economic development.

Projects

As a key tool for development, the Academy has close links with the Committee on Development and Intellectual Property (CDIP), and has completed a number of CDIP projects, which are now mainstreamed into its activities and are aimed at further supporting IP capacity building. The Academy also runs other projects such as the IP4Youth&Teachers service under the distance learning program.
