尊龙凯时官网入口 (FIT/Japan IP Global) supports developing and least developed countries (LDCs) to improve their knowledge of IP systems and enhance their IP capabilities to facilitate innovation and technology transfer worldwide.
Since the government of Japan, through the Japan Patent Office (JPO), made its first voluntary contribution to WIPO in 1987, it contributed to more than 90 million CHF to more than 80 countries in Asia and Pacific region and African region for supporting diverse activities in the field of Intellectual Property. In 2019, Funds-in-Trust Japan Industrial Property Global was established to expand the supporting area. Currently, Japan's government contributes 5.8 million CHF annually.
The Funds-in-Trust Japan IP Global, while fully using the Japan's expertise and experiences in cooperation with developing and least developed countries in the field of IP, contributes to energizing IP ecosystems in the whole world through supporting WIPO’s activities for the following objectives:
- To establish a world in which innovations originated in developing and least developed countries are properly protected as IP and commercialized, through establishing self-sustaining IP ecosystems in respective countries;
- To form the Global IP network through connecting systems, people and information around IP of respective countries;
- To broaden the roles of IP for economic growth and social vibrancy through fostering deepened understanding of IP among experts in other fields and also the general public; and
- To contribute to the achievement of SDGs through promoting the diffusion of innovative technologies around the globe and implementing activities to solve global issues by using IP.

FIT Japan IP Global supports diverse education, training, and research opportunities, including scholarships for WIPO-supported master’s degree programs in Intellectual Property (MIP), Fellowship programs in Japan. FIT Japan IP Global also organizes several workshops for learning the effective use of IP, such as patent drafting course and patent searching courses for Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC).

FIT Japan IP Global supports universities, research institutions, and SMEs for the best use of the IP system through the Enabling Innovation Environment (EIE) Project and IP week.

Branding projects
Through the branding project, FIT Japan IP Global assists manufacturers to acquire the IP rights to brand their products. Women in Kenya's basket weaving community have formed an association to market their products, brand their products, and develop their livelihoods. In "Weaving a Way Forward", these women share their experiences.

FIT Japan IP Global undertakes modernization projects to help bring national and regional IP offices’ operations and services into the digital age.
A digitalization project in Vietnam was completed in March 2021, with the processing of around 2,320,000 pages of IP documents (e.g., 1,800,000 patent, industrial design, and trademark pages, as well as 520,000 pages of published patent and appeal dossiers).
Furthermore, a digitization project of IP documents (patents, trademarks, industrial designs, and utility models) for the Companies and Intellectual Property Authority of Botswana was completed in 2021. About 40,000 paper files were scanned and indexed in this project. A data validation and capture project at the Patents and Companies Registration Agency of Zambia was also completed in 2021 with a total of 42501 trademark files verified for quality.

FIT Japan IP Global has been funding the development of WIPO CASE, a platform to share useful dossier information among IP Offices since 2014.
Our main achievements are:
- WIPO CASE was successfully linked to the IP5 One Portal Dossier.

- ASEAN PATENTSCOPE was established and released.

A major goal of the Manga project was to increase public awareness of intellectual property.
The competition invited Japanese manga artists to create an original work that highlighted the health and safety risks associated with purchasing counterfeit products. The winning artwork was translated into several languages.
