The WIPO Development Agenda Project on IP and gastronomic tourism aims to promote the use of intellectual property (IP) in culinary traditions (food and beverages) for application in the tourism sector.

The country’s socio-cultural diversity has shaped Malaysian gastronomy, which is a major attraction and plays an essential role in the development of tourism. The project allowed to highlight the richness of the Malaysian cuisine.
Moroccan gastronomy enjoys an international aura due to its diversity and richness. From awards to international rankings, Moroccan cuisine has become one of the Kingdom’s attractions.
Over the last twenty years, Peruvian cuisine has boomed in the culinary scene and has earned international renown.
Peruvian gastronomy reflects the country’s rich biodiversity, mix of cultures and use of native, ancient varieties as ingredients in modern cuisine.
